Luckily I have some long skills training but this is starting to get ridiculous and I hope a solution is found soon so I can go back to enjoying the game. Well I am still stuck with my same problem of losing connection on either the acquiring of bulk data, upon entering the game or after a couple minutes of entering the game. I have a similar laptop, but I don't play the game there, I haven't even tried installing it, my config is: Maybe im not alone with this problem and someone can help me to solve it? I have tryed re-installation, renaming the "cache" file to "temp-cache", disabling the hardware acceleration for my sound card, re-installation of video drivers and adding a "voiceenabled=0" string. Strange is following - the game works pretty well during this seconds before freezing and then suddenly hangs. When i do a tutorial at the station the game works well, but when i go to space, my client freezes after 10 seconds, then comes the black screen and my computer hangs totally. I guess I'll come back to EVE when I've gotten a different computer - more patches have come out.
Is this a known issue? Is there a work around? My system is stable with everything else (Everything except Oblivion - that used to crash ever 15 mins). Those are the two things that kill me - Opening/Closing the interface's windows in space stationa - and Entering/Leaving space stations.īasically I'll do a mission - and then have the client crash on me three times while I sell stuff, get the next mission, respec my ship, etc. I'm ok outside doing the missions and mining and all that cool stuff - But Entering/Leaving is 50/50 wether it'll crash or not - and opening windows while inside the space stations often crashes the thing too. However my client crashes a lot inside space stations.
I'm on day 3 of my trial account - But EVE is everything I ever wanted from an MMO - I'm 2 years bored of WoW. DaStonedOne is the name, tell him to hit me up will ya? It isnt illegal to let a friend log you and start a skill is it? I cant log in game to message him, halp halp plz. My character in game is : Dirty Deja - Ministry of War Corporation. halp halp, I dont have a skill training! Could someone go online and ask DaStonedOne to contact me here or with a email? he is on ofton unless he has after patch problems. any advice? what? want me to take it off pc and re-install or re download a client? Cause thats the only advice given to me from CCCP. so whats the problem? I got extra ram, and a ATI raedon x9200 video card fully upgraded, dsl is good, have ran tuners, cleaners, virus control you name it everything almost other than something I could missing with a client issue. this machine has been pro ever since I have had it. what to do? tried just possibly almost all options other than whatever 1 is wrong or something out of the ordanary, like formatting, or buying a new computer. login screen never pops up after the intro picture of the ship. but i can see in task manager that program is running, yet it isnt responding. when i cntrol/alt/delete and bring up task manager in Win. you know, **Picture of ship*** ("ReveraltionsII") at the bottom, then is fades when the log in servers comes in right? not my client, it minimizes with no way to command it to open, only close. I open the game, the header pic comes up. or some coputation, Best scenerio is current one. I had a problem patching due to CRC or tut2 or a stuff file. reinstalling, different patches and builds from different versions, I have uninstalled, deleted, dowmloaded and cussed and fussed for days and days it seems. Well, mine is a bit different from everyoine I have heard, patch must be bugged to fire's end.
